About QuickTool4U

QuickTool4U is a collection of free, single-purpose online tools: image conversion and compression, PDF editing, text formatting, developer utilities, QR and barcode generation, and financial calculators for the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, the UAE and India.

Who maintains it

The site is built and maintained by Need Infotech. Corrections and bug reports reach a person: use the contact page or the “report an issue” link at the foot of every tool.

How the tools work

Roughly 85% of the tools here run entirely inside your browser. When a page says files never leave your device, that is literally what happens: the file is read by JavaScript on your own machine, processed there, and handed back to you. It is never sent to us, so there is nothing for us to store, log or lose.

A minority of tools genuinely cannot work that way — converting a PDF to Word, running OCR, or checking a DNS record all need a server. Those pages say so plainly, and the badge on the upload area changes to uploaded securely · deleted within 1 hour. Uploaded files and their outputs are deleted automatically within an hour, by a scheduled job that runs every ten minutes.

Where calculator figures come from

Every tax calculator states the authority whose published figures it implements and the tax year it applies, on the page itself. Rates, bands and thresholds are stored as versioned data and reviewed against the published source before a year goes live — they are not hard-coded, and a previous year's page keeps returning that year's correct answer rather than silently being overwritten.

These calculators are general information, not financial or tax advice. Check anything that matters with a qualified professional.

How the site is funded

Advertising, and nothing else. There is no paid tier, no account system, no mailing list and no data sold to anyone. Ads sit below the tool, never above it, and never between an input and its result.
