Using the tools

The tools are free to use, for personal and commercial work alike, with no signup and no watermark. You keep all rights in the files you process; we claim none.

Acceptable use

Use these tools only on files and documents you own or are authorised to modify. This applies in particular to the PDF unlock and password removal tools — they exist for people who have lost the password to their own documents, not for circumventing protection on someone else's.

Do not use the site to process unlawful material, to attack or probe systems you do not control, or in a way that degrades the service for others. Automated or high-volume use is rate limited.

Accuracy

The calculators implement published rules and are tested against known-good reference figures, and each states its source and applicable tax year. They are still general information, not financial, tax, legal or medical advice. Verify anything that matters with a qualified professional before acting on it.

Files and availability

Most tools run in your browser and never transmit your file. For those that do upload, files are deleted within one hour and download links expire after 15 minutes — do not rely on this site as storage. The service is provided as-is, without a guarantee of availability.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from use of these tools, including loss of data or decisions made on the basis of a calculated figure. Keep a copy of any file that matters before processing it.
